Recent ActivityFlowertown Elementary is a PBIS school. You might ask what that means. PBIS.org defines PBIS as, a major advance in school-wide discipline that has an empathsis on school-wide systems of support that include proactive strategies for defining, teaching, and supporting appropriate student behaviors to create positive school environments. Instead of using a patchwork of individual behavioral managment plans, a continum of positive behavior support for all students within a school is implemented in areas including the classroom and non-classroom settings, such as, hallways and bathrooms. Positive behavior support is an application of a behaviorally-based systems approach to enhance the capacity of schools, families, and communities to design effective environments that improve the link between research-validated practices and the environments in which teaching and learning occurs.

Class Announcements Do you have an idea for the Bee Buck Store?We are looking for new ideas to have on stock for our students in the FES Bee Buck Store. If you have an idea of items other students would be interested in purchasing using Bee Bucks, please let your teacher know! Our FES staff would love any suggestions that students would enjoy working to earn!
Caught with a ComplimentHas your student been caught yet??? FES teachers and staff are looking for students who are going above and beyond their 3 Bees each and every day. When a teacher "catches" a student doing something "fish" worthy, they are entered to win a Caught with a Compliment T-shirt!! Winners will be chosen every month from each grade level and announced on the WBEE Morning Show. Remember to show those 3 Bees!!
 Bus BucksStudents can earn Bus Bucks from their bus driver when they show their Flowertown 3 Bees on the way to and from school. When a student has earned 10 Bus Bucks, he/she may visit Ms. Bigman and she will have a CD player and CD appropriate for school that your child can rent for the night! They can listen to this CD player on the way to and from school by earning the Bus Bucks.
